1. What is the difference between Silicone PET film and normal heat transfer PET film?
Unlike standard PET films, Silicone film is engineered for high temperature resistance, highly glossy coating, and double-side coating options. This makes it ideal for high-standard screen printing and complex brand logos (such as Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Jordan, etc.) requiring exceptional detail and 3D effects.
2. What are the recommended temperature and pressing conditions for this film?
The standard transfer temperature is 160°C to 190°C (302°F) for 6 seconds. For high-density applications, we recommend a pressure of 20 to 30 pounds, pressing for 5 seconds on the front side and 15 seconds on the back side.
3. Does the film shrink during the baking process?
No. The film is designed with excellent thermal stability. It does not shrink during the baking process under standard heat press temperatures (160°C - 190°C), ensuring precise registration and printing quality.
4. What materials can this silicone film be applied to?
It is highly versatile and can be applied to cottons, chemical fibers, cotton blend fabrics, EVA, non-woven fabrics, leather, and other heat-resistant textiles.
5. Is the silicone film hot peel or cold peel?
